Description
At the age of nine, she began my formal music studies, specializing in flute at the Vocational School of Arts. After completing her studies there, she was accepted into the National School of Art (ENA), where she graduated with honors and received the Gold Title, awarded to the best student of her class. From a young age, she dedicated herself to developing a professional career as a flutist. She had the great honor of serving as the principal flutist for the Symphony Orchestra of the Gran Teatro de La Habana, where she gained invaluable experience performing a wide range of repertoire, including classical music, ballet, opera, symphonic, and lyrical pieces. During this time, she also had the opportunity to record a live album with the renowned international musician and composer Sverre Indris Joner. Simultaneously, she worked as a flute teacher at the Vocational Music School and was a member of the Flute Chamber Orchestra directed by José Luis Cortés, a winner of the National Music Award. With this ensemble, she performed at numerous venues both in Cuba and abroad. She later founded my own musical project—a women’s quartet called “Aire.” Around that time, she received her first international contract as a soloist and decided to embark on my journey as an international flutist. In 2019, she left her home country and began performing on stages around the world, including in India, France, Nepal, and the United Arab Emirates.
